About Rad Tracker

Track Your Radiation Exposure. Understand Your Risk. Take Control.

Built for Everyone

Rad Tracker isn’t just for doctors and nurses. It’s for anyone who wants to understand and track their radiation exposure — whether you’re a firefighter responding to hazmat calls, a flight attendant logging thousands of miles at altitude, a patient who’s had multiple CT scans, or simply someone who wants to be informed about the radiation in everyday life.

We built this app for the general public, first responders, flight crews, medical professionals, cancer survivors, frequent flyers, and anyone curious about their cumulative exposure.

Why I Built This

As a first responder, I’ve been exposed to radiation in the field. But that’s only part of my story. Over the years, I’ve also been through countless CT scans, X-rays, bone scans, radiation therapy, and four surgeries. After all of that, I realized I had no idea what my total radiation exposure actually was.

I wanted a simple way to calculate a rough estimate — something to help me understand what all those procedures added up to. When I looked for an app that could do this, I couldn’t find one. Nothing existed for regular people to log and track their personal radiation exposure.

That’s when I decided to build it myself. What started as a personal tool turned into a mission to create something others could use too — not just to track their exposure, but to get educated about radiation and make informed decisions about their health.

What Rad Tracker Does

Rad Tracker puts radiation exposure tracking in your pocket. Our app includes a database of over 630 radiation sources and medical procedures, a flight dose calculator for air travel, and easy-to-use logging tools to track your cumulative dose over time.

Whether you want to log a chest X-ray, estimate your exposure from a cross-country flight, or understand background radiation in your area, Rad Tracker gives you the information you need in a clean, intuitive interface.

Knowledge is Power

Most people have no idea how much radiation they’ve been exposed to throughout their lives. Doctors order scans, you get on planes, you live your life — and the doses add up without you ever knowing the total.

Rad Tracker isn’t about fear. It’s about awareness. By understanding your exposure history, you can have more informed conversations with your doctors, make smarter decisions about elective imaging, and simply know where you stand.

Our Commitment to You

Your data is yours. We will never sell or share your personal health information. Rad Tracker is built on a foundation of privacy, accuracy, and transparency. We continuously update our database based on the latest research and user feedback.
